I (Isabel) have known Mary since my early teens from Summer Bible Camp. Our friendship was such that about 8 or 10 years later we holidayed together for two weeks to Alberta, for a church youth conference, sight-seeing and visiting. About 5 years after that I had met a family at Somerset, later found out she had been born at Somerset, and that she was connected to my husband's family through a Longbottom - Foster family connection. We visited some over the years, exchanged Christmas letters and newsy emails. Mary knew many of my family connections as well through my siblings that lived in the city from time to time and were in the same church at the time. We will miss her and look forward to meeting someday in the future. - Posted by: Bill and Isabel Acheson (Friend and relative) on: Mar 07, 2026

I will miss our occasional casino trips and bingo evenings! Funny how we never did that during our Agriculture working years together but did so after retiring! Your kindness will be missed by many! 💞 - Posted by: Rose Anne Burdeny (Agriculture co-worker) on: Mar 07, 2026
